Web 2.0 Learning opportunity: My Experience

Before joinning the work session, the first day, I thought I know a lot about ICT applications and tools but whilst going through the sessions I learned that I was Wrong. There are so many things I don't know.

Web 2.0 fordev have been a very enriching experience for me as an ICT user.

The Web 2.0 learning opportunity brought me a lot; about how I can make social networks more useful professionally and learn from people, share own experiences through chats, group discussions and blogs.
I had great fun through the sessions learning to use google docs, maps and creating, sharing these documents with others.
The greatest fun side of the training was that I was back to the campus and took my old student seat which surely have taken me years and years back and it was like memories revival and came back once more to lecture classes of some of my previous lecturers.
I had the opportunity to interact with professionals of the Agricultural Sector in various fields and most amazing was that these people were of different ages, from very young to quite matured one that is over 50 years old and  nevertheless these people came to cope with the training and have been on track.
I take this an opportunity to thanks, on behalf of me and all my participatory friends to; the CTA for their initiative, the University of Mauritius, the facilitators, the ministries and head of departments and institutions to have released participants for the sessions.
